The year was 1976 and she was famous when she scored the first ever perfect 10, on the asymmetrical bar at the Montreal Olympic Games. Additionally, she went to score six more perfect tens, making her the youngest overall Olympic gold medalist at just 14 years old. Not only did Nadia Comaneci get attention from all angles however, she also assisted in helping Romania locate itself on the map of the world.
